The Tipping Method is primarily a self-help system that offers a variety of tools and processes to help you achieve the shift of energy required to ‘dissolve’ (rather than solve) your perceived problem. Nevertheless, there may be times when you feel a little bit stuck and need to talk it all through with someone who is trained in the Tipping Method. We have many such coaches and Radical Forgiveness Coach/Practitioners listed on our website so it is very simple to arrange a session with one of them.
Why it always better to work with someone trained in The Tipping Method rather than a traditional therapist:
It’s simply a matter of mindset. Normally a traditional therapist starts the enquiry based in the medical model. That is to say they will have these three questions in their mind when you walk through the door:
1. What is wrong with you or your situation?
2. How did it come to be this way?
3. How can we fix the problem?
The Tipping Method Coach/Practitioner has a very different approach based on the metaphysical assumptions that underpin the Tipping Method. He or she will have a different set of questions in mind when you begin the conversation, even if you present the problem in the normal way and expect to be offered a solution, which, of course, is to be expected. It’s the way we normally think. Nevertheless, he or she will be wondering:
1. What is perfect about what is occurring for this person?
2. How is the perfection revealing itself?
3. How can I get the person to think of it as possibly perfect?
As you can see, the traditional therapist will be searching for a solution based in the physical world whereas the Tipping Coach will be offering you a spiritual approach. Most of our coaches/practitioners are traditionally trained so they know how to blend the two approaches, so if you feel you might need some help, check the list and choose someone you feel drawn to and then make contact.
